Foraging lets you gather herbs, mushrooms, seeds and craft potions. It uses the Interact skill on special foraging nodes inside the Eternal Biosphere.

• Foraging Instructor

  • Role: Teaches Foraging, gives tools/tasks, tracks progression.

• Caretaker (entry / trial hat / shops)

  • Map: main_office (151,111) — can rent Straw Hat (5 days), and open Foraging Shop.

• Foraging Shop (via Caretaker)

  • Sells: Sickle (basic tool).

• Campsite Cauldron (camp area)

  • Used for combines/crafting (e.g., Dash Juice, potions) when Instructor asks.

✅ Requirements & Starter Items

• Wear a Straw Hat (rent trial from Caretaker if needed).

• Have the Interact skill (Caretaker grants it if missing).

• Talk to Foraging Instructor to start the profession.

• Instructor will give Sickle ×10 on first talk.

• Instructor may give a Combination Kit during Lv.1 tasks — keep it for combines.

🌿 What Foraging Does (overview)

• Forage at Foraging Nodes for items like Blue Mushroom, Medicinal Herb, Insect Husk (Lv.1), then Citron, Adamant Seed, Might Seed (Lv.2), then rare plants at Lv.3.

• Gathered items are used in combines (potions, extracts).

• Combines sometimes require a Combination Kit.

• Complete Instructor tasks to level from Lv.1 → Lv.2 → Lv.3, unlocking rarer resource nodes and recipes.

Step-by-step Progression (exact, follow in this order)

Follow each checklist item exactly. The Instructor sets tasks in a specific order — complete the current task, then talk to the Instructor to get the next one.

🌱 Foraging — Start

• Talk to Foraging Instructor (319,283).

  • If you are brand new, the Instructor sets your Foraging Lv → 1, gives Sickle ×10, and enables Interact for foraging nodes.

  • The first active task will be forage 20 times.

🌿 Foraging Lv.1 — Tasks (complete sequentially)

• Forage 20 times on level-1 nodes (Blue Mushroom / Medicinal Herb / Insect Husk).

  • This is the initial starter target; nodes are interactive cells in the camp area.

• Forage 50 times — when this finishes, the Instructor will give you a Combination Kit.

  • The script uses FORAGE_TOTAL = 50 for this stage.

• Craft Hunter’s Potion ×10.

  • Use the Combination Kit + gathered items at the Cauldron or combine menu (Instructor will set this task explicitly: FORAGE_COMBINE = Hunters_Potion, FORAGE_TOTAL = 10).

• Forage 70–80 times (random between 70 and 80).

  • After completion you get to choose a herb reward (Blue Mushroom, Medicinal Herb, or Insect Husk) — pick whichever you need.

• Craft Energy Drink ×5 (FORAGE_COMBINE = Energy_Drink, FORAGE_TOTAL = 5).

  • Instructor message reminds you that Combination Kit is used for combining items.

✅ After these steps the Instructor will mark the level checks and raise you to Foraging Lv.2.

🍃 Foraging Lv.2 — Tasks (complete sequentially)

• Forage 40–50 times (random target; check the Instructor dialog for exact number).

  • The script sets the next FORAGE_TOTAL to a random value between 40 and 50 for Lv.2 entry tasks.

• Locate and hammer 2 Sproutrings (special foraging nodes).

  • Use Interact on Sproutring cells when the Instructor requests (FISH-like mechanic but for plants). These are rare interactive cells — Scoutflies (optional) can help locate them.

• Craft Stoneskin Extract ×5 (FORAGE_COMBINE = Stoneskin_Extract, FORAGE_TOTAL = 5).

  • The Instructor sets this as a combine target at Lv.2 (complete it to finish the Lv.2 progression).

✅ After the Lv.2 combine tasks are completed the Instructor will grant Foraging Lv.3 (max) and let you forage rare plants.

• Unlocks rare nodes and items: Golden Flower, Nitroshroom, Zapshroom.

• Continue gathering rare herbs and crafting advanced potions/consumables.

🧪 Combines & Recipes (what you’ll use them for)

• Combination Kit — required for many combines. Instructor gives it during Lv.1 tasks.

• Examples of combines you will be asked to craft:

  • Hunter’s Potion ×10 (Lv.1 combine objective)

  • Energy Drink ×5 (Lv.1 combine objective)

  • Stoneskin Extract ×5 (Lv.2 combine objective)

• Use the Campsite Cauldron or the In-game combine UI as instructed.

📦 Shops & Tools

• Foraging Shop (via Caretaker)

  • Sells Sickle and basic supplies.

• Make sure you always have a Combination Kit and space in inventory for potion outputs.

💡 Tips & Common Pitfalls

• Follow Instructor dialog precisely — the script uses bitflags to control which task is active; trying to do tasks out of order will not progress you.

• Keep a Combination Kit in your bag — some combines can’t be done without it.

• Scoutflies / Scout systems help locate Sproutrings (rare nodes) quickly — use them when the Instructor asks you to “look for Sproutrings.”

• Inventory management: combine outputs can stack; clear inventory space before big combine tasks.

• If you get a random count (e.g., 40–50), check the Instructor dialog for the exact number — the script picks a random target in that range.
