Life Skills System – Player Guide (Quest Log Style)

Welcome to the Eternal Biosphere — a special island where you can master Fishing, Foraging, and Mining. Follow this step-by-step log to learn, level up, and claim rewards.

📍 Step 1: Access the Eternal Biosphere

NPC: Caretaker Map: main_office (151,111)

Talk to Caretaker.
Choose Enter Eternal Biosphere.
If you don’t have the right hat, pick Information:
- Trial Mine Helm (5 days)
- Trial Fisherman’s Hat (5 days)
- Trial Straw Hat (5 days)
Receive Interact skill (needed for all professions).
Visit Life Essentials Shop if you need tools:
- Pick Axe (Mining) – 10,000z
- Sickle (Foraging) – 10,000z
- Baits (Fishing) – 10k–25k each

✅ Reward: Access to Eternal Biosphere Island.

📍 Step 2: Move Between Camps

NPC: Crow Whisperer Locations:

📍 Step 3: Scoutflies (Optional Helper)

Use Scoutflies item/skill inside Eternal Biosphere.
Marks special mobs (Aquaring, Sproutring, Stonering) on your minimap for a few seconds.
Helpful when the Instructor asks you to “locate and hammer” them.

NPC: Fishing Instructor Map: mhisle01 (69,376) Requirements: Fisherman’s Hat, Interact skill, bait.

Starter reward: Wriggling Bait ×10

🎣 Fishing Lv.1

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.2

🎣 Fishing Lv.2

Fish 50 times.
Locate & hammer 2 Aquarings (Interact skill).
Catch 30 of a random fish (Instructor tells which).
Trade fish at Tonic Crafter to make 5 Stat Tonics.

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.3

🎣 Fishing Lv.3 (Max)

Unlocks rare catches: Nimble Octopus, Lucky Koi, Bull Shark, Ancient Squid, Swift Sturgeon, Fatty Tuna.
Continue trading fish to earn Calorie Points → Distill STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK Tonics.

🌿 Foraging Progression

NPC: Foraging Instructor Map: mhisle01 (319,283) Requirements: Straw Hat, Interact skill.

Starter reward: Sickle ×10

🌿 Foraging Lv.1

Forage 20 times (Blue Mushroom, Medicinal Herb, Insect Husk).
Forage 50 times → Receive Combination Kit.
Craft Hunter’s Potion ×10.
Forage 70–80 times → Choose a herb (Blue Mushroom / Medicinal Herb / Insect Husk).
Craft Energy Drink ×5.

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.2

🌿 Foraging Lv.2

Forage 40–50 times.
Locate & hammer 2 Sproutrings.
Craft Stoneskin Extract ×5.

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.3

🌿 Foraging Lv.3 (Max)

Unlocks rare plants: Golden Flower, Nitroshroom, Zapshroom.
Craft powerful Potions with Combination Kit.

Starter reward: Pick Axe ×10

⛏️ Mining Lv.1

Mine 40 times.
Mine 150–160 times.
Mine same stone 15 times in a row (don’t switch nodes).
Mine 110–120 times.
Locate & hammer 2 Stonerings.
Craft 1 Ingot at Smelter (Aquastone / Flamestone / Dragonstone).
- Collect ores worth 18,000 points (e.g., Beryl = 150 pts).
- Wear Mine Helm at Smelter.

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.2

⛏️ Mining Lv.2

Mine 45–50 times.
Mine 135–140 times.
Mine with great success 15 times.
Mine 170–180 times.

✅ Reward: Advance to Lv.3

⛏️ Mining Lv.3 (Max)

Unlocks rare ores: Beryl, Novacrystal, Dragonite.
Smelt them into Powerful Ingots for crafting Charms.

🔥 Smelter NPC

NPC: Smelter Map: Prontera (63,54)

Craft Ingots with ores from Mining.
Ingot types:
- Aquastone Ingot → Mithril, Azurite, Beryl
- Flamestone Ingot → Aetherite, Firestone, Novacrystal
- Dragonstone Ingot → Obsidian, Quartz, Dragonite
Requirement: 18,000 points worth of ores.
Safety Rule: Must wear Mine Helm to smelt.

🍲 Campsite Cauldron

Found at camps.
Used to cook and combine items (e.g., Dash Juice, Potions, Extracts).
Interact with Cauldron when Instructor sets a crafting task.

🎁 Rewards Overview

Fishing: Fish, Tonics (STR/AGI/VIT/INT/DEX/LUK)
Foraging: Herbs, Seeds, Potions (Hunter’s Potion, Energy Drink, Stoneskin Extract)
Mining: Ores, Ingots (Aquastone, Flamestone, Dragonstone) → Used for Charms
All Professions: Strong consumables, permanent level unlocks, access to rarer resources

Pick Axe [40501] A special tool that can be used for Mining at the Eternal Biosphere. Weight: 1

Sickle [40502] A special tool that can be used for Foraging at the Eternal Biosphere. Weight: 1

Wriggling Bait [40503] This slimy critter is the basic bait for Fishing at the Eternal Biosphere. Allows you to catch Smelly Fish, Slimy Eel and Azure Sea Star. Weight: 0

Jumping Bait [40504] An uppity fella! Sure to get the attention of something while Fishing at the Eternal Biosphere. Allows you to catch Small Octopus, Charmed Carp, Nimble Octopus, and Lucky Koi. Weight: 0

Juicy Bait [40505] This succulent fish is certain to attract something while Fishing at the Eternal Biosphere. Allows you to catch Baby Squid, Strong Mackerel, Ancient Squid, and Bull Shark. Weight: 0

Lively Bait [40506] Someone's feeling frisky! It'll be appealing to something while Fishing at the Eternal Biosphere. Allows you to catch Swordfish, Tough Fish, Swift Sturgeon, and Fatty Tuna. Weight: 0

Combination Kit [40521] A pocket-sized tool kit containing essential repair items and pre-threaded needles. Weight: 1

Energy Drink [40551] A special beverage that boosts the user's power output. Increases the amount of Ores, Herbs, and Fishes obtained when using life skills. Weight: 10

Hunter's Potion [40552] A medicinal concoction crafted from organic materials found in the Eternal Biosphere. Restores 3% of your Maximum HP per second. Effect is removed when taking damage. Duration: 10 seconds Weight: 1

Mega Hunter's Potion [40553] A massive potion much more invigorating than the normal version. Restores 7% of your Maximum HP per second. Effect is removed when taking damage. Duration: 10 seconds Weight: 1

Max Potion [40554] A concentrated concoction made to fully revitalize the user. Restores all HP. Increases Maximum HP by 5%. Duration: 15 minutes Weight: 1

Dash Juice [40555] A potion that gives a lasting burst of energy. Quadruples SP regeneration. Increases movement speed. Reduces aftercast delay by 10%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 1

Life Powder [40556] This item only works on PvE, PvP and BG setups. No effect in WoE. Heals the user and allies in a 15 cell radius. Restores 35% Max HP. Cooldown: 5 seconds Weight: 1

Herbal Remedy [40557] A potent remedy made from combining a Mega Hunter's Potion with Smelly Fish. Cures: Poison, Curse, Silence, Confusion, Blind, Hallucination, Bleeding, Orc Head, Change Undead Property. Weight: 1

Demon Extract [40558] This concoction grants fiendish strength. Increases physical damage to monsters by 10%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 1

Stoneskin Extract [40559] This concoction hardens the skin. Reduces damage taken from monsters by 10%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 1

Farcaster [40560] A fragrant powder that attracts nearby crows once released. Returns you to the Main Camp in the Eternal Biosphere. Weight: 1

Smoke Bomb [40561] A crafted smoke bomb, used in several recipes. Weight: 1

Scoutflies [40562] A common insect found on bushes and forests of the Eternal Biosphere. Weight: 1

Psychoserum [40563] A serum that imbues psychic powers. Increases magical damage to monsters by 10%. Weight: 1

STR Tonic [40564] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants STR +15, ATK +7%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20

AGI Tonic [40565] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants AGI +15, ASPD +7%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20

VIT Tonic [40566] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants VIT +15, Max HP +5%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20

INT Tonic [40567] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants INT +15, MATK +7%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20

DEX Tonic [40568] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants DEX +15, Ranged Damage +5%. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20

LUK Tonic [40569] This item only works on PvE, PvP, and BG. No effect in WoE. Grants LUK +15, CRIT +10. Duration: 10 minutes Weight: 20
