✨ Charm System – Player Guide

Charms are special items that grant status bonuses, elemental resistances, and unique effects. They are crafted using Ingots obtained from Mining & Smelting. The system also allows you to dissolve old charms for Ingots or even re-enchant Rare Charms.


📍 NPC & Location

  • Charm Craftsman

    • Map: main_office

    • Coordinates: (100, 301)

    • Role: Teaches, crafts, dissolves, and re-enchants Charms.


✅ Requirements

  • You must bring at least 1 Ingot (Aquastone, Flamestone, or Dragonstone) from the Smelter.

  • This unlocks Charm crafting with the Craftsman.

  • Ingots are obtained by Mining ores → Smelter NPC → Smelt into Ingots.

🔨 Charm Crafting Categories

When crafting, choose from these categories:

  1. Offensive Charms

    • Examples: Power, Magic, Range, Critical

    • Ingots required: 3/3/3 (Aquastone/Flamestone/Dragonstone)

  2. Defensive Charms

    • Examples: Neutral, Fire, Wind, Holy, Dark, etc.

    • Ingots required: 2/2/2

  3. Health & Energy Charms

    • Examples: Health, Energy

    • Ingots required: 2/2/2

  4. Flee, Dodge, Hit Charms

    • Examples: Flee, Dodge, Hit

    • Ingots required: 3/3/3

  5. Rare Charms (special unlock)

    • Examples: Movement, Speed, Delay, Weight, Bonus, Counter, Royal

    • Ingots required: 5/5/5

    • Unlocked by crafting 100 normal Charms (every 100 normal crafts → 1 Rare allowed).


📉 Charm Dissolution (Breaking Charms)

  • Talk to Charm Craftsman → Dissolve a Charm.

  • You can dissolve a charm to get back Ingots, but only a fraction:

    • Offensive: 3 Ingots returned

    • Defensive: 2 Ingots

    • Health/Energy: 2 Ingots

    • Flee/Dodge/Hit: 3 Ingots

    • Rare: 5 Ingots

  • You get to choose which type of Ingot to reclaim.

⚠️ Warning: Dissolution is permanent — the charm disappears.


🔁 Rare Charm Re-Enchantment

  • Unlocks after you have at least 2 of the same Rare Charm.

  • Requirements:

    • 2 of the same Rare Charm

    • 2 Aquastone Ingots

    • 2 Flamestone Ingots

    • 2 Dragonstone Ingots

    • 100,000,000 Zeny

  • Success rate: 50%

  • Limit: Can only re-enchant up to 3 times total per player.

If successful:

  • Your 2 Rare Charms merge into 1 different Rare Charm. If failed:

  • All Ingots + Zeny are consumed, but your Rare Charms remain.


💡 Tips & Notes

  • Inventory space: Crafting fails if overweight or inventory is full.

  • Charm Tiers:

    • Tier I (common) → 100% chance

    • Tier II (uncommon) → 33% chance

    • Tier III (rare) → 3% chance

  • Announcements: Rare/High-tier crafts are announced server-wide.

  • Progression:

    • 100 normal crafts = 1 Rare craft chance.

    • Dissolving gives partial returns, useful for recycling mistakes.

  • Re-enchant wisely — rerolls are limited (3 max).


🎁 Rewards (summary)

  • Offensive Charms → Boost ATK, MATK, Range, Crit.

  • Defensive Charms → Elemental resistances (Fire, Wind, Holy, Dark, etc.).

  • Health & Energy Charms → Boost HP/SP.

  • Flee, Dodge, Hit Charms → Improve survivability and accuracy.

  • Rare Charms → Unique effects (movement speed, delay reduction, weight capacity, etc.).
